Yet again… !
It’s been ages since I posted my last post! It indeed is. However, this time I would not blame it on procrastination. Well all this time, I indulged myself into reading. And when I read, probably I do not find time for anything else. The day has only 24hours per se. And I like to keep reading and writing separate. Perhaps because of my habit of doing one thing at a time!
Over the last couple of months I pored over the following books-
1. The Last Don by Mario Puzo
2. Black Friday-The true story of Bombay Bomb Blasts by S. Hussain Zaidi
Both the books are awesome and have proved themselves to be good investments. Books anyway without a doubt are a good investment.
I have become a big fan of Mario Puzo ever since I have read The Godfather. The way he writes, builds the plot and describes the climax is simply fantastic.
Black Friday is also a very nice book describing the deadly blasts that happened in 1993. A movie called Black Friday has been made on the book and I saw that before reading the book. I can now say that it’s really a commendable work by Anurag Basu in turning that book in to a motion picture.
Let’s see if I take a break from reading and devote time to writing or continue my trysts with books.
God Bless!
Cheers!
Adi
